Hello, I’m Margie Lou Llusala!
 
Joining Self-Compassion Pathways feels like a natural next step. While this is my first direct role in the mental health space, I’ve spent the last four years as a virtual assistant supporting business and spiritual coaches—many of whom focused on personal growth and emotional wellness. In many ways, this industry chose me.
 
I’m drawn to spaces that feel safe, encouraging, and honest. Being part of healing-centered work allows me to grow while helping others do the same.

How Do I Practice Self-Compassion?

Rest is essential for me, so I make sleep a priority whenever I can. I recharge by being in nature and staying active through sports. When I feel anxious, I turn to creativity—graphic design, drawing, or even doing makeup helps me feel grounded and at ease. Food is also a big part of how I care for myself, so I try to eat whole, balanced meals that nourish both body and mind.

Fun Facts About Me:

I have two male cats, Abo and Wolfie, who keep my home life fun and interesting. I’m in my 30s and currently exploring new ways to stay active—I’m learning how to swim, play tennis, and recently joined a dragon boat team. Taking care of my body has become a form of self-respect and joy.
